• W2 Contract, 12 months
• The position is hybrid - expect to be in the office three day per week (some flexibility is offered).
• This position involves about 10% regional travel to support two business units.
• Office Location: Kennett Square, PA.
• Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Overview
Our client is seeking a Strategic HR Generalist to assist the HR Department with various projects related to Benefits Administration, Recruiting, Compensation, Safety Programs, etc. As a Strategic HR Generalist, you will provide direct support to the HR Director.
This position is specifically being brought in to augment the current HR staff with special projects or peak time of need.
Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field and 5 years of experience in any HR related field [An additional 4 years of experience is needed in lieu of a Bachelor's degree]
• Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR softwares. [Client specific HRIS training will be provided]
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including MS Team and Outlook. [Microsoft is the client's communication platform]
• Need to have a strategic mindset and strong experience in consulting with leaders pertaining to employee relations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures, including employment law and regulations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Familiarity with compensation and benefits administration, including payroll processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of best practices in performance management and employee development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing HR needs and priorities.
