Job Summary:
nTech Workforce is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction activities for our Transmission & Substation projects. This role requires a strong background in Electric Utility Construction Management, including Transmission & Substation and Distribution projects.
About the Role:
- Project Execution:
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers.
- Construction Quality Assurance:
- Manage construction progress and quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Procurement and Logistics:
- Procure materials, equipment, and services.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
- Risk Management and Budgeting:
- Collaborate with project managers and senior management to address project risks and issues.
- Manage project budgets, costs, and resources.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma and 10 years of distribution construction experience in the electric power industry.
- Well-rounded experience in all Electric Utility Construction Management, including Transmission & Substation and Distribution projects.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Understanding of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedure.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Advanced knowledge of construction practice.
- Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Clear and effective communication.
