Due to massive growth, Fern Expo is looking to add a Product Owner, B2B to our Creative Services team to manage our portfolio of PHYSICAL TRADESHOW PRODUCTS . The Product Owner will drive revenue and business growth through analysis of product lineup and advancing Fern's product offering to meet market demand and opportunity. An understanding of customer pain points and preferences is necessary to guide development efforts. A creative, forward-thinking professional would achieve success in this role by facilitating the development of offerings that provide unique, flexible, and high-quality products to the market, enhancing Fern's existing product catalog.
You will report directly to the Sr. Vice President. Position reports out of our corporate office in Duluth GA. We function in a hybrid capacity; typically 2-3 days in the office plus the ability to travel up to 25% of the time to various shows.
What You'll Do :
Product Strategy and Innovation
- Engage with show organizers and exhibitors to understand their pain points, needs, and preferences, ensuring the development of products that directly address these challenges.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and industry shifts to identify new opportunities for product development.
- Drive the creation of new products and solutions that align with client needs, while maintaining a focus on improving consistency and operational efficiency.
Standardization and Process Improvement
Lead the effort to standardize current product offerings, simplifying and streamlining designs and processes where possible.Develop a catalog of standard design options for recurring types of events, reducing the need for custom designs for every show.Create standardized product bundles that meet the most common needs of both show organizers and exhibitors, enabling faster turnarounds and more predictable pricing.Product Launch and Execution
Oversee the end-to-end process of launching new products or standardized product versions, from ideation through to launch and post-launch review.Work closely with design, operations, and sales teams to ensure smooth execution and integration of new products into the company's offerings.Create product documentation, training materials, and sales support resources to ensure the successful adoption of new products by internal teams and clients.Sunset products, as appropriate, to ensure a market-leader approach to Fern's offering.Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work
Partner with cross-functional teams, including design, operations, and sales, to ensure the successful development and implementation of new products.Act as the liaison between customers, sales teams, and internal product teams to ensure products meet client expectations and drive customer satisfaction.Revenue and Business Growth
Identify product opportunities that will drive revenue growth by meeting the evolving needs of our clients, improving operational efficiency, and creating value-added offerings.Monitor product performance and customer feedback to refine and improve existing products, ensuring they continue to deliver value.Other duties as assigned.Who You Are :
Proven experience in product development or management, ideally in the events or design industry, with a focus on creating customer-centric products and solutions.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for product improvement or innovation.Experience in launching new products, from ideation through execution, and managing cross-functional teams.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Ability to balance creativity with operational efficiency, ensuring new products align with customer needs while also improving consistency and reducing complexity.A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong ability to drive results.Strongly Desired Skills
