Job Summary: The Fiber Foreman will be responsible for leading the crew on daily task given by the project Construction Manager. In this position you will work hand and hand will crews members properly pulling & blowing conduit, pulling & blowing Fiber. Setting handholes per company standards. Trenching in conduit to customer/jurisdiction depth requirements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Crew Lead
- Hand pull Fiber per company standards
- Use Fiber Puller and Fiber Blower to install fiber
- Set Handholes
- Trench conduit
- Cut concrete
- Core drill
- Install conduit (EMT, Rigid, Plenum)
- Proof conduit (rod and rope)
- Gain access to handhole and manholes
- Read Designs
- Set up traffic control
- Make ready wood poles
- Run equipment (Fiber Puller, Fiber Blower, Mini Excavator, Micro Plow, Aerial Lift, etc.)
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 5 years Industry standards Knowledge
- Willing to travel
- Valid Transportation
- Strong work ethic and good attendance record
- Lead by example
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
