Job Summary: As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. You will analyze current systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement innovative solutions to streamline operations. Your expertise in process design, quality control, and project management will be essential in driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective production strategies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Design and implement systems for quality control and waste reduction.
- Develop and optimize production schedules and workflows.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on process improvements and outcomes.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a telecommunications or production environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience and Certifications:
- Experience with ERP systems and planning software.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
- Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
