Overhead Conveyance Installer - Data Center Construction
Location: Various Sites (Travel Required)

Job Summary & Responsibilities:
- Perform data center cage, cabinets, and overhead conveyance installations, including ladder rack, fiber guide, and basket tray, in accordance with industry standards
- Unistrut, containment, and overhead conveyance installations
- Measure and cut accurately, install level and plumb
- Pull, dress, ribbon splice, and test fiber from 24 SMF to 3456 SMF
- Read and follow drawings, instructions, and specifications while maintaining the project scope and adhering to safety procedures
- Prepare field notes, interpret engineering drawings in the field, and make recommendations for changes as required
- Coordinate and communicate activities with other employees, departments, and management
Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
- Knowledge of basic tools, construction practices, and communication networks
- Understanding of cable installation practices, including dressing and lacing cables
- Familiarity with various manufacturers’ ISP racks, cabinets, ladder racks, fiber guides, and termination panels
- Knowledge of fiber optic cable types and manufacturer specifications to prevent cable damage
- Proficiency in cable testing procedures and test equipment
- Awareness of inside plant safety measures
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft applications
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
Education and Experience:
- Education Level: High School/GED
- Experience: 4-6 years of relevant job experience (similar industry or essential duties)
- Field of Study: Electronics, Telecommunications, Construction, or Project Management
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; lift up to 75 lbs.; work in all weather conditions
