Summary of position:
As a Cell Tower Technician, you will be on the front line, playing a role in Network Connex strategic direction, development, and future growth.
• You will be working in a team environment assisting with structural projects, which may include new builds, site modifications, on-site installation, and repair.
• You will accelerate your knowledge to effectively utilize tools, technology, and other resources to install mounts, antennas, grounding, associative RF components, and structure inspections.
• You will be expected to assist other professionals with your strict attention to detail, organization and complete all tasks with the highest level of quality workmanship.
Responsibilities Include:
• Installing All necessary materials on towers and rooftops to help the wireless carriers grow and expand
• Cable installation and connection of Ethernet, Coax, and Fiber
• Testing cables and connections
• Low voltage wiring
• Grounding and Ground testing
• Radiofrequency Sweep & PIM testing
Qualifications:
• No fear of height or working at height
• Must be available to travel and stay away from home 45% of the time
• Must be available to work nights & weekends
• Capable of reading FCD’s, SA’s & MA’s
• Have or be able to complete our provided Climbing and tower rescue certifications
• Have or be able to complete OSHA 10 courses
• Have or be able to complete provided First Aid/CPR courses
• RF Safety Certification
• Can operate or complete PIM gear, sweep gear, fiber tester training
• Valid driver’s license
