About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on HR professional to join our team on a contract basis. This individual will serve as a key resource for employee relations, conflict resolution, and general HR administration, ensuring smooth HR operations. The ideal candidate will be an HR problem solver—someone who steps in to handle challenges, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and ensures compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Sit in on employee meetings, handle complaints, and mediate workplace conflicts as needed.
- HR Administration: Assist with payroll-related issues, HR documentation, and employee inquiries.
- Compliance & Policies: Ensure HR processes align with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Management Support: Participate in management meetings, provide HR insights, and support leadership with workforce planning.
- Adaptability: Step in when needed and scale back when operations are running smoothly.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in employee relations or HR generalist roles.
- Skills: Strong conflict resolution, communication, and administrative skills.
- Mindset: Solution-oriented, adaptable, and willing to take initiative.
- Availability: Must be available for onsite work in Pittsburgh, PA, with a flexible schedule based on company needs.
