A rare opportunity has come up for an experienced Data Analyst with Snowflake to join an amazing Enterprise Data Intelligence Team, to work on a greenfield project building a new corporate data warehouse, which will serve as the basis for all enterprise reporting in fast-growing, global investment company which recently opened its new office in Warsaw – the first in Poland!
This is a high visibility and high impact opportunity given the diverse and cross functional stakeholders mandate. As such, the ideal candidate will be highly adaptable and willing to learn new technical skills as well as become a partner with the business and support a Centre of Excellence as the company builds out a self-service BI function.
Modern and evolving data platform is built on Snowflake, DBT, Airflow (Astronomer), FiveTran, Sigma Computing and PowerBI.

- lead requirements gathering and solution design directly with end users
- support the data warehouse engineers by translating business requirements into technical requirements and data models
- create data analyses and reporting data models using tools such as DBT
- delivering insightful and data rich interactive dashboards and reports to business and technology users
- keep up to date with Sigma and PowerBI feature releases and extensions, evaluate and integrate features as well as train users while driving adoption of new features and tools
- create training documentation that will be used by other teams
- support self-service BI users within business teams
- the ability to provide clarity and insight through compelling data visualization, preferably with prior experience in a financial setting
- demonstrable experience working with complex data sets
- strong analysis skills to extract requirements from end users rather than work from a fixed spec
- a focus on automation and developing solutions that don’t need hands on work to repeat, and a focus on data quality
- demonstrable expertise in Snowflake with at least 3 years of experience
- production deployments of DBT and at least 1 year of experience
- at least 3 years experience delivering visualizations in a BI tool such as PowerBI, Tableau, Looker or custom visuals using D3.js
