NTL provides state-of-the-art medical laboratory tests and related services in Midwest regions of the United States through our Central Laboratory and Processing Center.

Bilingual Phlebotomist SPANISH & ENGLISH - Pediatric Hospital Chicago IL 60649

-Operate medical equipment to safely collect blood from patients - Clearly explain the process of drawing blood to patients and calming any patients who might be nervous about the procedure. Perform safe venipuncture.

-Prepare Phlebotomy Colleagues schedules. Fill in for Phlebotomists as needed in a cooperative and professional manner for the wellbeing of the NTL Laboratory team.

-Answering any questions about the procedure for the patient and providing additional sources of information when needed. -Dressing the would left by the blood drawing. Perform safe venipuncture.

-Registering the blood in our systems and storing them in the appropriate location. -Sending blood samples to the testing laboratory. -Organizing blood samples and results that are returned after testing and updating patient records.

-Maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Job Type: Full Time or Part Time

Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Spanish & English languages skills required

Qualifications:

- Fluent in both Spanish and English

- Certified Phlebotomist with experience in specimen collection and processing

- Proficient in venipuncture and blood sampling techniques

- Strong understanding of medical terminology and physiology

- Excellent patient care and customer service skills

- Valid driver's license and leadership abilities
