Senior Accountant - Onsite in Columbus, IN

Responsibilities
- Assist to close book for East and Forge Plant
- Review the cost variance on PO vs SC
- Make sure each AE & JE are made based on US GAAP
- Assist B/S reconciliation
- Cost analysis for Plant (Variable to Fixed)
- Review Asset listing and update for East and Forge Plant)
- Understand the inventory level for East and Forge Plant
- Service PO review
- Understanding of production schedule
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related area or equivalent experience.
- Minimally 5-7 years in accounting and 2-3 years in Accounting in manufacturing.
- Experience working with Cost Accounting
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in ERP or equivalent financial systems
- The ability to become and remain organized
- Strong experience with database tools and reporting
- The ability to effectively analyze data, formulate recommendations, and present findings
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of plant operations and product lines and working in a cross-functional capacity.
