Electrical Maintenance Technician – multiple openings on the 2nd and 3rd shift
Hours, 2nd shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays as needed
3rd shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays as needed.

JOB SUMMARY – WHAT YOU WILL LEARN & DO
This position involves troubleshooting electrical systems (including PLCs, servo motors, and related systems and components), interpreting schematics and blueprints, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, replacing or repairing components, and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient system performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and upgrade electrical systems, including programmable controllers (PLCs), Mitsubishi systems, and related industrial equipment.
· Interpret and work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications for both scheduled and emergency repairs, occasionally without detailed instructions.
· Plan and perform electrical tasks with an understanding of electrical/electronic theory, wiring codes, and materials.
· Analyze circuit types, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
· Install, modify, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical units, electronic controls, components, and wiring.
· Adhere to all safety regulations and report potential hazards to maintain a safe workplace.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
· Mechanic with electrical expertise in industrial automation manufacturing OR 4 years of maintenance mechanic experience combined with enrollment in or completion of an Industrial Maintenance Technology degree or related field.
· Experience with industrial automation and electrical systems (preferably Mitsubishi, Fanuc, Motoman, or similar).
· Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings).
· Knowledge of hand tools, drill presses, lathes, mills, MIG welding, pipe threading, acetylene torches, soldering, and other trade-specific equipment.
· General manufacturing experience.
· Experience with electrical/electronic test equipment and precision measuring tools.
· Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift Monday through Friday and overtime during the week and Saturdays as required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to sit, kneel, squat, bend, walk, and stand.
· Ability to grasp and manipulate small objects such as screws, rivets, and wire terminals.
· Comfortable working in elevated positions using man-lifts and ladders.
· Ability to read, write, and follow verbal/written instructions.
· Capable of working closely with supervisors and team members in a fast-paced environment.
