QA Engineer responsibilities include designing, implementing, and automating tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also investigate product quality, make improvements to quality processes, work closely with software engineers to ensure consistent delivery velocity, and improve customer satisfaction through improved quality.This role is based in our NY office, and reports to the QA Engineering Manager.What You'll Do : Test current products to ensure we ship high quality software.Write, maintain and document reproducible tests, scripts and procedures.Suggest solutions to identified product problems.Investigate product quality to improve customer satisfaction.Identify, reproduce, record, document and track bugs.Perform thorough regression testing.Work with software engineers, product managers, and product designers to ensure software is tested to meet specifications and requirements.Work with software engineering teams to ensure bugs are fixed promptlyMaintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancementsRequired Experience : 2 years of experience in software quality engineering and testingStrong understanding of geometry and parametric solids modelingExperience with a scripting language like Python and eagerness to learn other languagesExperience with continuous integration systems, e.g. JenkinsExperience with building or extending automation frameworks e.g. pytest, Selenium, RobotExperience with Git, JiraExperience testing applications in Windows and UNIX-like operating systemsExperience with test management tools e.g. TestRailA passion for robust development practices including test-driven development, continuous integration, and agile methodologiesPreferred Experience : Experience using computer aided design / manufacturing systems (e.g., Solidworks, NX, CATIA, etc.)Compensation : $110,000-124,000 annually, depending on experienceAt this time, nTop can only hire US employees who reside in the following states : California, Connecticut, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, WashingtonnTop is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
