CNC Lathe Machinist – Fanuc Controls
Shift & Compensation:
- Day Shift: 40-hour workweek (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch break)
- Weekends: On-call
Key Responsibilities:
- Skilled in programming, editing / setting up a wide range of complex parts, along with a strong background in operating Fanuc-controlled CNC Lathes, including both flat-bed and slant-bed models.
- Familiarization with machining non-mag, hastelloy, nickel, and carbon steel materials.
- Machine rotary shouldered connections per API Product Specification 7.
- Optimize machining processes through tool proofing and program adjustments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and quality specifications.
- Perform CNC programming modifications to optimize part production.
- Maintain high safety and quality control standards in machining operations.
- Utilize live tooling capabilities to perform multiple machining operations in a single setup.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience machining with Fanuc-controlled CNC Lathes.
- Experience machining oil & gas components, including API threads.
- Ability to calculate surface footage and adjust machine offsets accordingly.
- Proficiency with Fanuc G-code programming, tool compensation, and offset adjustments.
- Familiarity with digital readout systems, automated probing, and CMM measurement verification.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to excel in fast-paced environments and thrive in team-oriented settings.
