What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fiber/Cable Installer position at NTS, INC.?
NTS INC is currently hiring residential/commercial cable installation and service technicians to join our team to provide our customers with essential lines of communication, such as: TV, Internet and Phone services (Spectrum) in Lexington, KY, and surrounding areas. Coax, SMB and Fiber experience is a plus.

We are looking for both experienced and inexperienced techs with the ability to learn and the willingness to work hard towards a common goal, in a team environment. ***This is a full-time 1099 position that requires you to have your own tools and work vehicle, we also have the option, if necessary, to provide a leased vehicle and other essential equipment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Current valid driver’s license.
- Able to pass a drug screen/background check.
- Work well under pressure, and work independently and as part of a team while being detail-oriented.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve issues as they arise.
- Excellent customer service skills!
- Demonstrate a professional appearance.
- Requires a Samsung S22 or S23 FE phone. **Negotiable**
- Owned work truck or van. **Negotiable**
Physical requirements
- Move over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather while carrying tools and equipment
- Work in all weather conditions including inclement weather and in extreme heat/ cold environments.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, climb, squat and kneel without restrictions.
- Comfortable with traveling, sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
