Your day at NTT DATA
The Senior Manager, IT Project Management oversees the people who lead internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. This role manages and prioritizes the project stream, working with internal customers to determine project definition and business requirements. Responsibilities include budget analysis, resource allocation, and coordination of project activities across functional areas within the organization. The Senior Manager assigns and monitors the work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps align with business objectives, are on-time, and within budget. This position also establishes a repeatable methodology for managing all aspects of projects, including project definition, scheduling, meeting management, milestone tracking, scope management, risk management, change management, communications, and status reporting.
What you'll be doing
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages personnel consistent with company guidelines.
- Establishes the program and project management for the IT rhythm of business, including project committees.
- Ensures projects go through the project-specific interlock process and all artifacts are created in accordance with company guidelines.
- Provides portfolio risk management, ensuring all foreseeable project risks are mitigated.
- Communicates within the leadership team and employees through regular meetings.
- Oversees the IT Project Program, ensuring sub-processes are followed and artifacts are created and stored.
- Establishes key performance indicators for IT programs and reports them to the leadership team.
- Works with various departments to determine project scope, milestones, tasks, risks, assumptions, objectives, and dependencies.
- Assists organizations within NTT GDC Americas with technical project management.
- Clearly articulates project goals, deliverables, and timelines to all levels of the organization.
- Coordinates and leads necessary meetings with direct reports.
- Trains, supports, and mentors team members.
- Interfaces with vendors and internal departments as necessary.

This position is expected to be remote with occasional onsite needs. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. A valid state-issued driver’s license and a valid passport are required. This role may involve 35% travel.
NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $156,000 - $233,000.
