Professional Services Lead Consultant
Position Overview: The Professional Services Lead Consultant is a visionary leader who plays a pivotal role in the Professional Services organization, driving technology-led workforce transformations. They are responsible for articulating the high-level strategy that defines the desired future state environment to meet client business outcomes and designing the processes and architecture to make that vision a reality.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Strategic Vision:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their long-term business objectives and define the outcomes, experiences, and desired future state that aligns with their strategic goals. Align clients with technology solutions that will drive their business goals and workforce strategies.
- Drive the architecture of the blueprint for transformation, detailing the processes, systems, and infrastructure required to achieve the envisioned future state. Craft and refine IT solutions, ensuring they meet client needs and drive efficiency and productivity.
- Support broad consulting and advisory discussions around managed compute, print and collaboration technologies.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of transformational consulting engagements, ensuring they meet client objectives and deliver transformative outcomes.
- Establish engagement governance, define management processes, and ensure operational workflows are optimized for success.
- Serve as an expert in workforce technologies, promoting best practices and innovative solutions.
- Mentor team members and drive consistency and scale of the services delivery methodology.
- Create and maintain standard deliverable templates which align to the evolving technology solutions offered through our managed service delivery teams
- Monitor project success through key performance indicators, adapting strategies for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Governance and Compliance:
- Develop a framework for managing issues, risks, changes, and quality, ensuring adherence to established processes and proposed approaches.
- Experience working with external partner organizations providing delivery support and supporting change management or escalations in a back-to-back service agreement.
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Engineering, or a related field or 15 years of working experience. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in consulting, with a focus on technology-driven workforce solutions.
- Established history of serving as the primary point of contact for high-level client executives, managing the strategic implementation and scheduling of comprehensive transformation projects.
- Proven history in managing and delivering large-scale transformation projects.
- Expertise in collaboration platforms, document workflow optimization, and end-user computing technologies.
- Proven experience in managed services, including knowledge of IT service management frameworks and best practices.
- Be a champion for user experiences when people engage with technology around computers, printing, and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of the latest trends in workplace technology and digital transformation.
- Experience in defining and designing IT experiences with a focus on customer organizational goals and outcomes within security, capabilities, effort, and cost constraints.
- Ability to identify capabilities and gaps in current solutions, pinpointing pain points and challenges related to people, processes, and technology.
- Skills in defining metrics to assess device compatibility, scalability, reliability, user satisfaction, user engagement, productivity, and design quality.
- Experience in establishing project governance, defining project management processes and controls, and ensuring alignment with established processes and proposed approaches.
- Capability to design for the future, keeping the roadmap and strategy in mind, and defining KPIs to measure success against business objectives.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project success.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, adapting to changing client needs.
- Proficiency in Modern Management tools such as Microsoft On-prem/Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Modern Provisioning (Windows 10/11 Imaging/PPKG).
- Expertise in assessing infrastructure and network capabilities to support Device Readiness Assessment Services and Windows 11 migration initiatives.
- Experience with print technologies, business process workflows, scanning, and digitization technologies, and workflow software leveraging both on-prem and cloud architectures.
- Expertise in collaboration technology, network systems, and collaboration workflows.
- Knowledge of persona-based customization for device and user configuration workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure/Windows Application Testing, with the ability to enable Application Readiness Assessment solutions and run automation in the customer's Microsoft Azure environment.
