We are currently seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Applies in-depth IT knowledge and experience towards gathering and analyzing business / application requirements in support of financial services. With the goal to design strategic target state architecture, using defined standards to maximize performance and capacity, while driving IT costs down. Familiarity with infrastructure Platform as a Service (PaaS), providing IT services within the private cloud, integrating orchestration and automation to quickly deliver solutions is essential. A general knowledge of the financial services industry and how technology supports and enables those services is extremely beneficial.
Responsibilities :
- Supporting businesses as a trusted advisor for all solution tasks.
- Engage in routine discussions with stakeholders (DBA, SA, Build, Business) regarding App / Business requirements.
- Work with senior architects, supporting Solution End-to-End tasks when deemed necessary.
- Ability to take ALL elements of a solution design and capture in both a narrative and diagram (Visio) form in such a way that stakeholders can understand.
- Must grasp the technical aspects of an application's RTO / RPO when designing an infrastructure solution.
- As part of the Solution process, guide clients in re-platforming applications to new strategic technology platforms, and the deployment of new applications into Citi.
