We are currently seeking a .NET Developer to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).
Job Title: .Net Developer
NTT DATA is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Software Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions deployed in Microsoft Azure working in a collaborative environment and leverage your understanding of the .NET framework, object-oriented programming, and Azure cloud services. Experience working on government projects or with federal security requirements is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing applications that can scale to meet demand and perform optimally in the cloud environment
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code using C# and the .NET framework, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with other developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing effective solutions to address identified problems.
- Contribute to the design and development of databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed software.
- Adhere to federal security requirements and guidelines in the development and deployment of software solutions.
- Developing and deploying applications using Azure services Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Storage, and Azure SQL Database.
- Implementing and managing cloud infrastructure with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, managing virtual machines, and configuring networking components.
- Applying security controls and following best practices for secure development in Azure.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines in Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Using tools like Terraform or ARM templates to manage infrastructure.
- Experience with containerization working with Docker and Kubernetes in Azure or similar.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 6 years of work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development using C# and the .NET framework or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web applications.
- Minimum 3 years experience in programming languages relevant to the environment (e.g., Java, typescript, Springboot).
- Minimum 3 years of experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Must be a US Citizenand be ableto obtain aPublic Trust Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- US Military Veteran
- Experience working on government projects or with federal security requirements (e.g., NIST 800-53, FISMA).
- Software development relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS).
