We are currently seeking a Project Program Management Specialist to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads cross-functional teams on multiple, complex projects taking place concurrently.
- Assists with all aspects of project life cycle including scope development, scheduling, resources estimating, PO creation, cost tracking and analysis, change control, risk identification and mitigation, project documentation and close out.
- Execute, manage and follow plans, procedures and processes for maintaining high standards of project activities, site quality, reliability and safety.
- Determine and enforce - through functional groups - productivity and quality requirements in accordance with project requirements and business needs.
- Ensures adherence to plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments.
- Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Communicates project issues and escalations to management and stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and develop improved techniques to ensure continued quality implementations to meet changing company requirements.
- Responsible for working with technical teams in an IT services and delivery, IT Infrastructure, and Desktop Engineering environment.
- Manage and control project expenditures within agreed budgets including work hours and overtime.
- Manage to contractual obligations and project deliverables.
- Provides daily, weekly, status updates and reports with project stakeholders including customized reports for venue partners as needed
- Assume other duties and responsibilities as may be determined necessary
- Experience managing to timelines, deliverables with quality.
- Experience using data to drive team performance and improvement.
- Experience work with technical staff at multi-sites.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis in customer service, including experience handling difficult customers and conflict resolution.
- Ability to handle several projects simultaneously.
- Ability to coordinate with Customer's on-site facilities and technical contacts regarding readiness and delivery issues.
- Ability to work in an agile environment (ever changing).
Required Skills:
Minimum of three years of Project Management experience-Microsoft Project Scheduling, Task Assignment, Resource Capacity
Preferred Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar roll e.g. experience coordinating and managing technical projects
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
- Critical Thinking - ability to make analytical decisions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Team-management and leadership skills
- Documentation management and ability to use Microsoft office, project management tools
- Attention to details even under pressure
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Technical acumen
