We are currently seeking a SME in OpenShift Container Orchestration Platform and Ansible Automation to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement solid, scalable and flexible solutions to support clients migrating and transforming from commodity hardware to Oracle Exastack.
- Partner with our Sales organization to help sell Exastack related services by providing pre-sales support activities such as drafting proposals, providing effort estimations, and participating in client presentations
- Collaborate with internal teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues for existing and proposed Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, Exalogic and Super Clusters)
- Leverage extensive Oracle implementation experience to lead the delivery of the Exastack specific engagements
- Engage Oracle’s sales, alliance, and product teams to develop joint solutions and go to market activities
- 8 years of experience in OpenShift
- 8 years of experience in Ansible
- 8 years of experience in GitHub
- 8 years of experience in OpenStack
- 8 years of experience across the entire enterprise data center stack from the hardware to the application layer at major consulting firm or systems integrator
- 3 years of experience conceptualizing and architecting the target environment for Oracle Exastack
- 2 years of experience supporting professional services sales cycle including proposal development, RFP responses, and account expansion initiatives
Degree: Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experience
