Your day at NTT DATA
This position will join the Global IP Network (GIN) team at NTT. NTT’s Global IP Network is one of the world's largest Tier 1 global IP backbones, spanning the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania on a single autonomous system number AS2914. As a top wholesale IP provider globally, our network has received many international recognitions, including Best Global Wholesale Carrier, Best North American Wholesale Carrier and Wholesale Operator of the Year, among others.
The Account Consultant (AC) is part of the Global IP Network (GIN) Business Unit and is responsible to meet and exceed monthly sales quota from the sale of high bandwidth IP transit services together with associated value-added services (including security services), to Internet-centric companies, both domestically and internationally, while minimizing customer churn and price erosion through active account management of an assigned customer base.
What you'll be doing
In this role you will :
- Responsible for managing a list of assigned existing accounts.
- Developmentofaccount managementandmarketing plansconsistentwith position objectives.
- Track, manage, and report ongoing activity relative to plan.
- Responsible forcustomer retentionof assigned accounts.
- Identify competitive pricing solutions for customers.
- Assist with new product rollout and makesales presentationson new product lines to customers
- Performs myriad of task as required / and or assigned.
- Ability to travel as needed
- Flexibility to perform duties outside the standard 8am-5pm US time zones
