As a Business Analyst/Product Owner, you are fully responsible for representing the needs of the client to the development team. After analyzing the business needs, you will translate them to product requirements for our developers to ingest. Finally, as business needs change and stakeholders make new requests, you will add/update user stories and prioritize & refine the backlog, so developers are always working on the most important client needs. Your combination of technical and people skills will ensure that our products are always answering the most critical business needs of our clients. You will ensure that everything we produce provides maximum value to the client.

Once You Are Here, You Will:
  • Build business cases with our clients to prioritize features by understanding the client business, the market, and users.
  • Collaborate with the designers, architects, and engineers to iterate on the MVP scope. Work with senior product managers and business to translate roadmap into prioritized backlog.
  • Participate in planning and sprint sessions. Facilitate detailed product road mapping, release planning, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Manage product backlog with well-refined user stories that are easy for the engineers to estimate.
  • Identify the audience, user groups, needs and feature requirements. Develop feature and user story requirements with acceptance criteria while acting as final release gatekeeper for new functionality.
  • Align user needs and business value while streamlining and championing delivery channels for product delivery. Includes technical and go-to-market delivery.
  • Coordinate dependencies between different teams and organizations.
  • Provide relevant product metrics to gauge team progress with a continual focus on improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver verbally and orally effective communications of progress and status for both internal and client teams.
  • Perform hands-on work, including analysis, design, testing, change management, as needed by the team.
  • Contribute content to the Product Management practice on a quarterly basis.
  • Convert feedback and insights from the onboarding process into actionable work items for the relevant workstreams.

  • Collaborate with application teams to understand their deployment needs and requirements.
  • Design and implement a CI/CD pipeline tailored for GCP projects.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the CI/CD pipeline with existing development and deployment processes.
  • Monitor and optimize the CI/CD pipeline for performance and reliability.
  • Provide documentation and training to application teams on using the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Stay updated with the latest CI/CD and GCP best practices and technologies.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 8 years of product management experience, preferably in enterprise or consumer software
  • 8 years of experience working in a Product Owner capacity.
  • 5 years of experience decomposing features into user stories for software products.
  • 5 years creating and maintaining a product metrics artifact.
  • 5 years establishing goals and objectives for your product or capability.
  • 5 years of experience using one or more of the following Agile Lifecycle Management tools (Jira, ADO, etc.,) to create features, stories, and roadmaps.
  • Understanding of GitOps practices and procedures
  • Understanding of automated CI/CD pipeline development and processes
  • Understanding of IaC development (Terraform, YAML)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipeline design patterns and tools including Azure DevOps, Git, Argo, Jfrog, SonarQube, and policy engines
  • Understanding of runtime security and performance monitoring principals
  • Understanding of cloud technologies including containerized application design/implementations (GKE, AKS)
  • Ability to work independently and as a productive team member, actively participating in agile ceremonies
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team: status updates and concerns, issues and risks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, and be knowledgeable of setting effective plans and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum concepts
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Scrum Master or Product Owner Certification.
  • Experience in software development-based enterprise environment and software delivery.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $70.00 -$78.00/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
