We're looking for a highly skilled Sr. Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing methods to connect and collect data from various sources, analyzing and understanding data sources and APIs, and working closely with data scientists to ensure data quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data pipelines to extract data from various sources
- Collaborate with data scientists to ensure data quality and integrity
- Work with product managers to understand business objectives and requirements
- Design and develop robust architecture for cloud-based data engineering projects
- Participate in agile development methodologies and continuous integration/delivery processes
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on big data platforms
- Proficiency in data processing technologies such as Spark, HBase, Hive, and Java/Scala
- Experience with streaming data architectures and technologies for real-time and low-latency data processing
- Strong knowledge of agile development methods and continuous integration/delivery processes
