We are currently seeking a Data Engineering Lead - Data Coach to join our team Hybrid based inthe Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Summary :
This role requires a seasoned professional with over 9 years of experience in leading teams and technical projects. The ideal candidate will perform data engineering tasks as well as serving as a mentor and coach to a team of approximately 4 data engineers, providing guidance on best practices, training opportunities, and broader context around business objectives.
Job Description :
- Provide team leadership, mentorship, hands-on architecture, engineering backlog prioritization, resource assignment as well as innovation & automation.
- Lead and mentor a team of ~4 data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Provide opportunities for training and upskilling and offer insights into business objectives.
- Engage in hands-on architecture and engineering tasks within data organization.
- Support legal, risk, and compliance teams by producing reports, building data products for risk and fraud modeling, and performing data analysis to support Finance and HR functions.
- Support other areas such as data governance, data platform development / management, data engineering and pipelining and framework development / adoption.
- Interface directly with customer teams to understand their priorities and assign resources accordingly.
- Ensure alignment with goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities where we can provide additional thought leadership and support.
- Ideate on innovation opportunities in the data management space.
- Apply GenAI and other automation techniques to improve productivity and enhance solution maturity.
