We are currently seeking a Messaging Lead-US Citizen to join our team in Washington DC, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

- Designing scalable messaging architectures, including email, instant messaging, and mobile device management systems, to meet mission-critical availability requirements.
- Deploying updates, patches, and new features to messaging platforms while minimizing downtime and ensuring 99.99% system uptime.
- Integrating messaging systems with related enterprise services, such as Active Directory, PKI, and security applications, to ensure seamless functionality.
- Maintaining system performance by tuning configurations, monitoring capacity, and addressing potential bottlenecks across on- and off-premises environments.
- Troubleshooting complex messaging issues, such as delivery failures, synchronization errors, and security breaches, escalated from lower-tier support.
- Testing system enhancements and configurations in controlled environments to validate reliability before production deployment.
- Documenting engineering designs, integration processes, and maintenance procedures to support operational continuity and audits.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
- Education Equivalency: One-and-one- half (1.5) years of additional experience can substitute for one (1) year of a typical degree program.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity (e.g., enterprise messaging systems with 10,000 users).
- Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8140 for Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level 2 (e.g., CompTIA Security , CCNA Security, or equivalent) is required at the time of hiring.
- Must be a US citizen who possesses an active Top Secret SCI Clearance and who is capable of receiving a higher level clearance.
- Must live a commutable distance from the client site in Washington, DC.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, deploying, integrating, and maintaining complex messaging platforms (e.g., email, instant messaging, mobile device management) in a high-availability environment.
- Certifications: Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) and DoD 8140 IAT Level 3 compliance (e.g., CASP , CISSP).
- More than 5 years of experience in systems engineering, particularly with messaging platforms in a DoD or government enterprise setting.
- Proficiency with enterprise messaging tools (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, Skype for Business), mobile device management systems, and Apple device management platforms.
- Proven ability to maintain 99.99% system uptime in a 24/7/365 operational environment supporting global users.
