JOB SUMMARY As a Pharmacy Technician working in the backend of the Specialty Pharmacy, you would be responsible for all aspects of filling prescriptions and coordination of safe and effective drug distribution systems. A successful Picking Pharmacy Technician will need to be accurate and detail oriented while pulling the correct drug, strength and brand as indicated on each prescription label. JOB QUALIFICATION
- 1 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license
- National Pharmacy Technician preferred
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS All duties and responsibilities are essential job functions and are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS Requires sitting for long periods of time. Some bending, stretching or reaching required. Requires the physical dexterity to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier and other office equipment as necessary. Requires ability to perform data entry functions for 95% of the scheduled work shift and perform duties in a fast-paced environment with high demands and tight deadlines. Requires ability to view computer monitor for long periods of time without eyestrain.
