Your day at NTT DATA

The Principal Architecture Consultant is a highly skilled expert who identifies areas of improvement for clients with complex information technology environments.

This role guides and oversees the implementation strategies and solutions for all aspects of infrastructure and related technology components.

The Principal Architecture Consultant oversees the delivery of multi-technology consulting services to clients and takes ownership of the development of the architectural approach for more than one layer of a complex solution.

This role is responsible for reviewing the information technology infrastructure to identify areas of improvement.

What you'll be doing

Primarily responsible for the development of business architecture based on cloud native solutions for clients (preferably GCP services). Viewed by customers as a Cloud consultant / lead architect. Defines client needs, determines a strategy and develops a plan/proposal for delivery of the project which generally leads to a client’s internal process or function being modified for improved efficiency and effectiveness. Performance is typically evaluated based on the capture of the business opportunity and/or utilization, (i.e., billable hours).

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reviewing strategies and addressing a client’s organizational business problems and needs by providing Cloud Native recommendations.
• Use extensive experience identify and analyze client problems providing NTT Data Inc. with opportunities for market share.
• Outline the end-to-end solution set to enable the client’s business transformation.
• Actively ensure decisions which will result in serious impacts to transformation costs and customer commitments are minimized and avoided.
• Use comprehensive cloud experience to estimate scope of consultant and/or architect effort and accurately estimate complex project time required for completion.
• Continuously search for opportunities to innovate solutions for the client thereby improving client’s business and ensuring business development for NTT Data Inc.
• Proactively support client facing workshops by collecting, reviewing and analyzing both Cloud and business issues.
• Review the design and update methodology required to address IT and business issues in a professional, knowledge sharing manner enabling the client organization to achieve their stated outcomes.
• Review and update roadmap documents and business cases.
• Maintain knowledge by staying abreast of current trends and best practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Comprehensive domain/industry expertise coupled with cloud consulting and client engagement experience, demonstrating good experience in client needs assessment and change management
• Knowledge and understanding of Cloud Native services on one of the hyperscaler platforms (preferably GCP)
• Excellent understanding of business transformation couple with strategic thinking ability.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• The ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the delivery of business transformation
• Extensive knowledge of systems, software and programming languages
• Ability to focus on detail with an understanding of how it impacts the business strategically
• Excellent client service orientation
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations
• Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business
• Ability to facilitate workshops with level clients

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Professional certification in Google Cloud or equivalent
• Relevant industry specific accreditations and/or affiliations
