Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Prep Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This position requires someone who is passionate about food preparation, cleanliness, and supporting a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have prior kitchen experience and be able to contribute to the overall smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with plating meals to ensure a high-quality presentation

• Wash dishes and utensils in a timely manner to maintain a clean work environment

• Perform light and deep cleaning of kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, and equipment

• Prep vegetables, meats, and other ingredients as needed to support daily operations

• Help where needed throughout the kitchen, providing support to other staff members

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all food safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous kitchen experience is required

• Must hold a valid ServSafe certification (or be willing to obtain if not already certified)

• Must be over 18 years of age

• Ability to work weekends (Fridays Saturdays and Sundays OR Saturday Sunday) and finish shifts by 8:00 pm

• Baking experience is a plus, but not required

• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization
