Description
Our Shipping and Receiving Clerk will assist Distribution Center Management in achieving operational excellence, by assisting in various operational duties. Candidates for this position must be flexible in their day to day duties, and support TBC’s / NTW’s core values and safety culture.
The key expectations of the position are to assist Distribution Center Management with the activities listed, but not exclusive to, the outline below.
Job Responsibilities
Professionally interact with customers (both internal and external) and potential customers over the phoneMeet or exceed TBC’s performance standards for quality and speed of service to our customersCreate shipping labelsCreate transfer orders in SAPWill need to obtain customer signature (proof of delivery)Assist in loading customer vehicles / inbound shipments and outbound shipmentsMaintain all necessary files in a neat and orderly mannerPerform data entry to receive inventory and create shipmentsPrepare required reports or updates as requested by Distribution Center ManagementFollow all safety practices as outlined in policy and proceduresAssist Distribution Center Management by providing support in report functionsAssist Distribution Center Management in monitoring the accuracy of inventoryPerform Daily Cycle CountsProcess FedEx shipments : Pull product, label, and loadWill be a back up to primary Ortec userOther duties as requested or neededQualifications
