Armed Security/Personal Protection Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer/Personal Protection Officer, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in various situations. As the Protection Officer, you will play a crucial role in deterring criminal activity and ensuring the safety of individuals on the premises. You will need to have the mental fortitude to "Stop a Deadly Threat" if really one is presented. This is a stand alone building with a security office. CCTV, Fridge, microwave, Semi Auto Shot Gun, etc. We are guarding expensive items and valuables in a stand alone building. This is a great company with great management.

Duties

• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches or incidents, documenting findings accurately.
• Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.

Skills

• Proficient in first aid and CPR techniques to provide immediate assistance during emergencies.
• Strong conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Experience in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) for monitoring premises.
• Background in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions in critical situations.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats.

Hours:

Mondays and Fridays-1030am to 230pm.

Wednesday and Thursday - 1030am to 8pm

This will provide you with approximately 26-28 hours per week. You can also pick up extra hours by working other officers days if they need off. If you have a level IV registration, then you can come in business casual, jacket, badge, and shoulder holster. Women and Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
