Responsibilities:
- Support the Chef in leading the kitchen team during shifts, ensuring smooth operations.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking, maintaining consistency and high quality.
- Assist with inventory management, food ordering, and kitchen organization.
- Ensure all health and safety standards are met.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive and team-oriented work environment.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, helping them develop their skills and performance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen leadership role or similar position.
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills with a positive, hands-on approach.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and culinary techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve under pressure.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
