Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in various aspects of commercial construction, including painting, drywall patching, small framing jobs, punch list detailing, and clean-up. This role requires a strong leader who can oversee daily site activities while also performing manual labor as needed to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily on-site construction activities.
- Ensure all work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Perform hands-on tasks such as painting, drywall patching, minor framing, punch list detailing, and job site clean-up.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Conduct quality control checks and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Maintain project schedules and deadlines while addressing any job site issues that arise.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed and enforce OSHA regulations.
- Assist in material ordering, site preparation, and equipment management.
- Train and mentor laborers and junior crew members as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of construction experience, preferably in commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Hands-on experience with painting, drywall patching, small framing projects, and general job site cleanup.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
