This role is out of Provo, Utah.
About this Role :
The Assistant General Counsel will provide expert legal counsel and guidance on a wide range of matters, including litigation and human resources-related matters and providing legal support to the HR department. The role also involves supporting manufacturing, product development, value stream, marketing efforts and ensuring that the Company adheres to applicable regulations, helping to mitigate legal risks, and fostering a legally sound and productive work environment.
Additionally, this position requires litigation expertise to manage the Company's litigation matters and oversee outside counsel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in representing clients in various legal disputes and a strong understanding of courtroom procedures, legal research, and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contractual arrangements
- Offer legal guidance and advice to management and cross functional groups.
- Stay abreast of developments in direct selling and product categories.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to help implement and administer the Company's compliance programs.
- Provide support and legal counsel regarding product manufacturing and development marketing, and intellectual property.
