What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Counsel position at Nu Skin?
About the Role : The Senior Counsel reports to and works closely with the Executive Vice President and General Counsel position. The Senior Counsel provides strategic and tactical legal advice and its implementation for the company. Additionally, this role will potentially be involved in designing and implementing systems, processes and controls to address legal risks. The Senior Counsel will perform or oversee the performance of complex legal work, including business transactions, preparing and negotiating critical contracts, risk management, and regulatory compliance across the Nu Skin global markets as applicable. What you'll do :
- Serve as a key attorney and legal advisor on major business transactions and contractual relationships across global markets as assigned.
- Conduct research and provide legal opinions to senior leaders, proactively monitor developments in relevant law, and advise company regarding the same.
- Advise on legal aspects of the company's financing and risk management.
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
