We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Desktop Technician V for a Full-Time position.

Job Summary:

Desktop Technician V is a senior-level technical specialist and team leader providing expert-level IT support and project management for the customer. This role oversees IT initiatives, manages teams, and ensures adherence to best practices in IT service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Manage IT projects from initiation to completion.
  
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex hardware, software, and networking issues.
  
• Lead and mentor a team of desktop technicians (5 staff).
  
• Implement IT best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Maintain compliance with federal security policies and IT regulations.
  
• Develop and manage technical documentation, workflows, and operational procedures.
  
• Manage deployment of new technologies across multiple locations.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degrees or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
• Minimum 5 years of IT support experience with team leadership responsibilities.
  
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft OS, Office Suite, and specialized software (GIS, AutoCAD).
  
• Proven experience managing IT projects and teams.
  
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
  

Preferred Skills:

• ITIL v3 certification or knowledge.
  
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP).
  
• Experience in federal IT environments.
