Duties :
- Design, develop and test major software system components.
- Resolve complex hardware / software compatibility and interface design considerations.
- Conduct investigations and tests of considerable complexity.
- Research emerging technologies to determine impact on application execution.
- Troubleshoot complex problems and provide customer support for software operating systems and application issues.
- Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced software engineers.
- Serve as a task leader.
Position Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Applications, Electrical and / or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering (Any) or related field plus five years of progressive work experience providing experience with JAVA.
Special Requirements :
Qualifying experience must include experience with JAVA.
Position requires travel / relocation to various unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. with expenses paid by the employer.
The employer is in the field of Information Technology implementing projects for clients in various states throughout the country. Depending on the scope of the project, these implementations could take days, weeks, months, or years. Hence, the beneficiary may have to travel or relocate to these client sites depending on the duration of the project.
Standard Company Benefits :
133,078.00 per year, Kansas City, MO, 40 hours / week.
