Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our creative team. As a Photo Editor, you will be responsible for enhancing, retouching, and transforming images to meet the company’s visual standards. You will work closely with photographers, designers, and other team members to ensure that all images are visually appealing and aligned with brand aesthetics.

Responsibilities:

• Edit, enhance, and retouch photos to meet high-quality standards.
• Work with photographers to ensure proper lighting, composition, and subject matter.
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure visual consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Cut, crop, and adjust photos as needed to meet specific project requirements.
• Remove backgrounds from product images and apply consistent styling and color adjustments to maintain a clean and professional look.
• Correct image imperfections, such as lighting issues, dust spots, color inconsistencies, and other elements that affect the quality of product images.
• Maintain an organized library of edited photos for future use.
• Ensure all edits are completed within project deadlines.
• Stay updated with the latest photo editing trends, techniques, and software.
• Provide creative input to improve image quality and composition when necessary.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Photo Editor, Photo Retoucher, or similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creative vision.
• Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other relevant tools.
• Knowledge of color correction, retouching, and image manipulation techniques.
• Ability to enhance product details and create visually appealing images while maintaining accurate product representation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of various image formats and optimization for different platforms.
• Knowledge of photography equipment and lighting techniques (a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or related field.
• Experience in photo editing for e-commerce, marketing, or social media.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
• Experience in creating 360-degree product images or video content (a plus).
