What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Driver position at Nucar Mid Atlantic?
Nucar Auto Group is looking to add Parts Drivers to our team!
Job Requirements:
- Picks up and delivers parts to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
- Accountable for positive customer relations within the respective department/dealership to meet or exceed the regional Parts Customer Service Index (CSI).
- Delivers parts to body shop when needed.
- Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
- Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
- Maintains an accurate log of daily deliveries, pick-ups and returned parts. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry, as per dealership requirement.
Qualifications:
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and clear driving record
- Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Able to work at a fast pace.
- Able to lift 30 lbs multiple times, this is a physically active job.
- Strong work ethic is critical.
- Must be comfortable bending, reaching and kneeling.
