Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory based on customer and markets
- Supervise the efforts of salespeople to enhance our image and increase customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership (CSI)
- Work directly with salespeople and customers to develop relationships, make the sales process easy and increase the closing percentages
- Be able to handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally
- Work with business manager in structuring deal to maximize revenue
- Communicate with sales managers / salespeople to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed
- Realize monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals and objectives for the department
- Stay abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers
- Attend and conduct sales meetings and training on a daily basis
- Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time more effectively
- Know and understand the federal, state and local laws which govern retail auto sales
