What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Pharmacy Technician - Story City position at NuCara Pharmacy?
NuCara Pharmacy is a dynamic community pharmacy serving patients in Iowa, Texas, North Dakota and Minnesota. At NuCara, we prioritize one-on-one patient counseling and medication management with the goal of delivering the best pharmacy value without sacrificing the quality of care prized by our patients.
We are looking for a part-time (25-30 hours per week), highly motivated pharmacy technician to join our team in Story City, IA. Certification preferred but not required. If not certified, applicant must pass pharmacy technician certification test within a year of hire date. We are willing to train the right person. In this position you would provide prompt, high quality care to our patients and assist the pharmacist in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications. Applicants should have strong communication & organizational skills, must be detail oriented, and able to learn quickly.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Data entry
- Customer interaction
- Inventory management
- Assist in directing daily workflow
- Resolving rejected insurance claims
NuCara offers 401(k) match for part-time positions.
The pharmacy is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and all major holidays.
Employment contingent upon successful completion of a drug screening and background check.
