Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Office Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing various administrative tasks and supporting daily activities. Responsibilities
- Manage office operations, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
- Provide administrative support to staff and management, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Handle front desk duties, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Utilize County Bookkeeping Program for basic accounting tasks and financial record keeping, equipment and project cost record keeping, and inventory recordkeeping.
- Codes and validates documents and transactions, and files claims in County Clerk's office. Enters expenditures in Department's budgetary report: adjusts and reconciles accounts and records with vendors/suppliers.
- Assist in proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Maintain effective communication with employees and the public, addressing inquiries and providing support as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve office efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer support skills are essential.
- Familiarity with data entry processes and attention to detail is required.
