Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide back-up team member support and training administration across the organization.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 per year. Please note that compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead site-based and corporate recruitment efforts within a consistent, fair and legally compliant method, track process, positions and calendar according to organizational growth plan.
- Effectively collaborate and partner with hiring managers in researching, creating and customizing job descriptions to ensure function and company needs are clearly identified ahead of recruitment efforts.
- Develop policies and strategies for acquiring new talent; research market trends, advancements, intel and pursue techniques to ensure recruitment and placement optimization and effectiveness.
- Diligently build pipelines for all roles, in particular advanced scientific roles; Establish partnerships with academic institutions for organizational awareness, campus recruitment engagement, and program coordination; represent Nucleus at job fairs and industry / recruiting events.
- Use various channels to source candidates; Utilize LinkedIn Corporate partnership, other best practice online tools, industry specific websites; partner effectively with external recruitment partners as needed for hard to fill roles.
- Implement external job postings and the coordination with the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); maintain and administer the system on an on-going basis.
- Manage the HR screening / interviewing process and coordinate the interview process with the hiring team; create, update and maintain interview guides to ensure position key competencies are identified and met; Maintain all recruitment documentation, including hiring team interview guides, resumes in a compliant manner.
- Coordinate offer proposals and approvals with the Manager, Human Resources and SVP, Human Resources in accordance with internal equity, external market considerations and budgetary requirements while aligning with the compensation bands; extend offers and work through negotiations with HR team support.
- Leads the coordination of new hire office tools and office set-up, to include coordination with IT partner, marketing team and hiring manager.
- Conduct new hire check-in interviews on a consistently scheduled basis upon hire to ensure feedback, engagement and organizational alignment with the new hire based on their recruitment and in the team environment; collaborate with managers and / or HR on feedback received to address accordingly.
- Lead the development of the site-based internship program to provide a rewarding, educational and development driven program for rising industry students and onsite managers.
- Provide back-up support in the administration of internal documents such as offer letters, promotion / transfer letters, Visa administration / file maintenance, performance management documents and other documentation for leadership approval / signature and documentation retention.
- Provide back-up support for team member training programs, ensuring timely tracking, completion and reimbursement where necessary, administering new team member logins, troubleshooting and team notification; Provide support for Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) program for Rochester team.
- Ensure confidentiality in all related HR tasks and actions.
- Monitor and communicate local market trends and state legal employment requirements, regulations and compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Communication or Organizational Development required; HRCI / SHRM Certification preferred.
- Minimum three years Human Resources, Recruiting or Talent Acquisition experience required.
- Minimum two years biotech, pharmaceutical, scientific or medical office experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of ADP, including recruitment / ATS, preferred.
- Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities.
