Operations Manager

Job Summary: The Operations Manager at NuCO2 will support the day-to-day field operations team, ensuring that our processes align with the highest standards of efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong analytical skills, a commitment to operational excellence, and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Oversight:
• Support daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and safety.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and high-quality service.
• Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead, mentor, and develop depot supervisors, drivers, and technicians.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to support continuous professional development.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure all locations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety standards.
• Assist with driver/technician training, safety audits, and incident reporting.
• Promote a culture of safety-first and operational discipline among all team members.
• Customer Service:
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely service.
• Address customer concerns and complaints promptly, collaborate with Sales and Back Office teams to ensure resolution and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Resource Management:
• Optimize resource allocation, including personnel and equipment to maximize efficiency and reduce costs across the country.
• Assists as needed with fleet management, including vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and route optimization.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor budget performance.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes and performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure NuCO2 remains at the forefront of operational excellence.
• Lead projects aimed at improving efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in an operations management role, preferably in the logistics or service industry.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
• Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.
  
  

Working Conditions:

• This position may require occasional travel to various NuCO2 locations and customer sites.
• The role involves working in both office and field environments, with some exposure to warehouse and outdoor conditions.
