Nucor Detailing Center, located in Norfolk, Nebraska, is seeking candidates to join our 2025 Drafting / Modeling Summer Internship program. We are seeking current college students who would like an introduction to steel structures and steel detailing. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Current student working toward a degree in Structural or Architectural Drafting or a related field, on track to graduate the Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 graduating year.
- Must have basic knowledge of construction practices
- CAD experience as well as Microsoft Office software experience.
- Recommendation of Drafting Instructor is required.
