Basic Job Functions :
The role of Market Manager includes but is not limited to :
- Act as a Market Champion for their primary Sheet Market segment(s).
- Division support for specified other Sheet Market segments. Work closely with those Market Champions.
- Develop and execute strategies for the market(s) by collaborating across the Sheet Group.
- Active participation in industry associations connected to their market.
- Raise Nucor brand awareness in the market.
- Connect with the Nucor Solutions groups as well as Corporate marketing.
- Involvement / support with customer contract negotiations.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to drive growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on sales and marketing strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and customers.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and market dynamics to anticipate changes and opportunities.
