Basic Job Functions:
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Basic Job Functions:
- Actively promote safety and work towards an incident free workplace
- Work alongside the Safety Engineer and other teammates and departments to promote and enhance Nucor’s safety, health and environmental processes
- Assist in the continual development, organization, review and maintenance of safety records and training
- Assist in assessing job tasks for hazards, identifying root causes in an incident and finding effective corrective actions to minimize future risk
