Basic Job Functions :
The Safety and Health Coordinator will provide professional support to improve and sustain the industrial health and safety of all teammates. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Maintaining and reporting safety data-KPI statistics, training, compliance records, confidential records, safety management system, etc.
- Working with state and federal safety regulations
- Participating in safety focus teams, Voluntary Protection Partnership (VPP) Programs, implementing best practices
- Analyzing compliance and auditing safety efforts
- Coordinating, scheduling, tracking and / or delivering department / division training to include new hire orientation
- Developing safe job analysis / procedures
- Maintaining department webpage, digital signage and monitors
- Coordination of company security, emergency response, loss prevention
- Creating / deactivating badges for teammates and contractors
- Coordinating duties of Security Company at gate entrances
- Communicating safety items (flyers, alerts, etc.)
- Assisting with planning and coordinating company activities and events
- Performing responsibilities of a trained Radiation Safety Officer
- This position will be required to be on call.
