Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Louisiana LLC is seeking qualified candidates for a Summer 2025 Finance Internship at our facility in Convent, LA. This internship offers exposure to key financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, payroll support, and financial reporting. Interns will gain real-world experience in financial operations within a large manufacturing environment.
Interns will work closely with members of the Finance and Accounting teams, contributing to business decisions and gaining skills in data interpretation and financial systems.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

- Currently pursuing a 4-year degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from an accredited institution
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Junior or Senior standing
- Strong interest in financial modeling, budgeting, cost analysis, or payroll
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exposure to financial or accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
