Job Description
This role involves operating Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) machines to produce high-quality steel products. You'll work closely with our team to maintain efficient manufacturing processes, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Weld structural parts according to Nucor Building Systems' weld procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following established safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on welding machinery, including Submerged Arc Welders (SAW).
- Work flexible hours, including night shifts, to meet production demands.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience in steel product manufacturing.
- Able to pass a GMAW Weld Test.
- Prior machine operation experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
